So, you know that photo I posted this morning — the one that seemed to say to me, “This is love and mutual respect and awesomeness,” and made me even more fucking excited about the character of our nominated pair?
“America’s most widely syndicated op-ed columnist” and Fox News blowhard Cal Thomas, in a post that’s been scrapped but was picked up first by Slate, referred to the above move as Michelle Obama’s “‘Hezbollah’ style fist-jabbing.”
This all came about, he wrote, because she “is not as ‘refined’ as Obama at hiding her TRUE feelings about America—etc.”
Cal Thomas’ next assignment, were there a God: sent to Lebanon to investigate fist-jabbing theory first-hand.
