“generating a lot of noise is a journalistic end unto itself” - no it’s not; in a democracy the media is the 4th power. had u lived in an authoritarian regime, articles like hers is all u would read in the newspapers. the NYT has a responsibility and the noise emily gould’s article has created has to do w/ how the public is pissed about reading gibberish.
Sir. You can spell out “authoritarian regime” and “gibberish,” but not “you”?
